Dicalite'S Diatomaceous Earth (Also Known As D.E.) Is A Swimming Pool Filter Powder. This Element Is An Amorphous Form Of Silica-Containing A Small Amount Of Microcrystalline Material. Filter Aids Are Processed At Above 800 Degrees C (1500 Degrees F).
Instructions:
- Clean the filter, make a slurry by adding filter aid to a pail of water
- Stir a few seconds until all the filter aid is dissolved
- Pre-coat by pouring aid slurry into the filter
